Satellite Data Archival, Monitoring & Notification System
Designed and built a system for managing, monitoring, and notifying on satellite data stored in object storage (ActivScale - petabyte-scale). Research paper co-authored (pending formal submission).
Streaming Large Satellite Images to Memory
POC to stream massive satellite images directly to memory, bypassing disk I/O for faster processing and improved security in air-gapped environments.
Redundant Region Classification for Image Compression
ML-based classification of uninformative regions (clouds, ocean, darkness) in satellite images, enabling intelligent compression of large data archives.
DEM Generation from Satellite Imagery
POC to generate Digital Elevation Models from satellite imagery by fusing multi-dimensional spatial data layers.
Multi-spectral Classification & Segmentation
Land-use/land-cover classification and segmentation on multi-spectral satellite imagery.
Kafka-based Satellite Data Streaming
Pub/sub messaging system using Apache Kafka for high-throughput satellite data stream ingestion, routing, and archival.
